About DEVCAP

Caribbean Development Capital Ltd (DEVCAP) evolved from DFL's risk capital investing operations that began in 1988. DEVCAP began making investments in late 2003 before which time investments were made by DFL Caribbean. DEVCAP's first accounting period ended on December 31, 2004. During that period DEVCAP made TT$7.7 million in new investments. Its first audited financial statements show a net profit of TT$2.6 million on total assets of TT$25.8 million.

DEVCAP is a limited liability company subject to Corporation tax in Trinidad and Tobago. It makes "private equity" and "venture capital" investments in private companies in the Eastern and Southern Caribbean. DEVCAP operates “Funds” into which investors make investments.
